High blood pressure, diabetes, elevated cholesterol. Three conditions that quietly drive some of the world's biggest health burdens, and three conditions that are, in large part, preventable. The problem has never really been a lack of medical knowledge. It's access. Not everyone has equal access to prevention, health information, or early screening, and the people who are most overlooked and underserved are often the hardest to reach through a clinic waiting room or a health campaign poster.
Our partner TRAIN has spent years closing that gap the hard way. In person, community by community. I want to tell you about a health day TRAIN ran at one of Amsterdam's largest mosques, because it's the clearest example I've seen of why BiotrackOS exists, and it's shaping what we're building.
What TRAIN proved
TRAIN's team set up directly inside the mosque, offering free checks, finger-prick cholesterol tests, blood pressure readings, and the chance for visitors to speak face-to-face with doctors, researchers, and lifestyle professionals on the spot. No referral, no appointment, no waiting weeks for a callback. The Heart Checkpoints used on the day are an initiative of the Dutch Heart Foundation (Hartstichting), organised in collaboration with TRAIN for this event.
The room filled with people who might never have booked a screening on their own, getting real answers about their heart health in a place they already trusted.
